It’s been a long six years since Vampire Weekend has released new music, but now they’re back. In anticipation of their new album, “Father of the Bride,” due out later this year, the indie rock group has dropped two new songs, “Harmony Hall” and “2021,” today.

“Harmony Hall” clocks in at just over five minutes long. It’s more optimistic acoustic guitar strings and cheery vocals that kick off the track feel perfect for springtime. Lead singer, Ezra Koenig, croons “I don’t want to live like this, but I don’t want to die.” The more abstract follow up, “2021,” doesn’t even hit 90 seconds long. Its more simplistic, but still remains just as notable and strong.

Vampire Weekend have confirmed a spring release for “Father of the Bride,” but no date has been announced yet.
